Our service to you

Changing Lanes Limited runs a jobs service as an employment agency: we help learners and former learners find permanent jobs with employers who recruit through us. You are employed by the employer, not by us. We do not currently supply temporary workers.

We never charge you for finding work. You do not pay us, and employers must not ask you for any fee, deposit or payment to be introduced or employed. If anyone asks you for money for a job advertised through us, tell us straight away at [to be confirmed: general enquiries email address].

What we do

  • publish vacancies that our staff have checked for accuracy and lawfulness;
  • let you build a job profile and choose exactly what employers see (Privacy notice for work-seekers using the jobs service);
  • suggest vacancies that match your licence, Driver CPC, region, availability, experience and shift preferences, with the reasons shown;
  • introduce you to an employer only when you apply to its vacancy (or, if you choose to make your profile discoverable, when a verified employer finds you);
  • tell the employer, when we introduce you, the checks we have made (for example your identity and licence categories);
  • give you the information we hold about the job before you are introduced — the employer's identity and business, the job title, duties, location, hours, pay, start date, required licence and Driver CPC, and known health and safety risks;
  • support you after you start with check-ins at weeks 1, 4 and 12.

What we ask of you

  • keep your profile accurate and up to date — especially your licence, Driver CPC and availability;
  • only apply for jobs you are genuinely interested in and able to do;
  • tell us if you accept a job elsewhere or no longer want to be introduced;
  • attend interviews you have confirmed, or tell the employer as early as you can;
  • follow the Acceptable use policy.

Before we introduce you we record your agreement to these terms and your consent to share the profile details you choose. You can change what you share, hide your profile or withdraw an application at any time in the portal. You are free to use other agencies and to find work yourself; using our jobs service never depends on using any other paid service.

No guarantee

We cannot promise you a job. Employers decide whom to interview and hire. Matching scores are suggestions, never decisions (Automated processing and AI notice).

Complaints

If you are unhappy with our jobs service, please tell us (Complaints policy and procedure). The Fair Work Agency enforces the rules that protect work-seekers and can be contacted about an agency's conduct.
